Yes, Call4Care’s CarePhone can work with an ADSL enabled telephone line, you will need to use an ADSL filter when you connect the CarePhone to the telephone line.
Call4Care can provide it’s service anywhere in South Africa, all you need is a telephone line and a power point as well as 3 responders who are willing to assist.
Yes, Call4Care’s service can be used by vulnerable people who live independently, or spend long periods of time alone and who may need to call for help or assistance. Social Alarms are used successfully by people with disabilities, mental illnesses and other conditions as a way to ensure that help is only a button press away at all times.
Typically once Call4Care has received all the completed forms and the initial activation payment it takes 2 working days to process the forms and courier the Carephone and panic button to you.
