Call4Care VillageCare - Retirement Homes
Call4Care VillageCare is specifically designed for group living environments for elderly people, such as retirement homes. This state-of-the-art system provides an integrated approach to all the communication and panic button functionality usually required in a retirement village. This allows an easier way for residents to call for help, quicker response capabilities and also provides more freedom for staff. Instead of wasting valuable time on constantly having to check up on residents, who could become irritated by the constant intrusions when there are no emergencies, staff can enjoy quality visits with residents in limited checks and will be notified as soon as an actual emergency arises. In an effort to constantly improve home care for the elderly, we make use of modern technology and package it in an easy-to-use system that works. Up until now, emergency care would have been provided by up to four separate systems, but VillageCare simplifies the process by putting all of the requirements into this one simple system.
Call4Care VillageCare includes:
- Call4Care Carephones and Panic Button Pendants for each resident in the village
- Additional Carephones in the retirement village common areas
- Optional pull-cords and other Telecare peripherals (E.g. smoke detectors, flood detectors)
- Intercom functionality (reception/office to apartments and common areas)
- 24/7 off-site monitoring by Call4Care Response Centre
- The VillageCare system can be monitored on or off-site and is a wired system with full power backup for up to 36 hours. It can also monitor additional risks such as secondary smoke detection or floods.

"I felt my wife was slipping into unconsciousness. It was touch and go. Had it not been for Call4Care she would not be here today. The medics stabilized her before taking her by ambulance to hospital. Today she’s baking me a cake!!"
